PHINCA HAPA RED DOC 2019

Sourced from the white limestone soils of our Biodynamic estate farmed vineyard, Hapa. This artisanal wine is hand harvested in 10 kilo cases following a rigorous selection in the vineyard. Once in the winery, the grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in a concrete tank. Following fermentation the wine is pressed and placed in 500L used barrels for 1 year. Great freshness and perfume, wild flowers and berries, mild spices and a fine palate. This has a different style due to being fermented with full clusters, a little lighter and fruit forward, with a shorter elevage, different and quite approachable.
